Spotlight on Aquarian Bath

From Herbs to Soap on an Eco Friendly Bath and Body Journey

Cory Trusty is the wonderful creator of Aquarian Bath
This is what she says about her gorgeous shop on Etsy
Aquarian Bath Inc is an herbalist owned small business. Natural ingredients always come first. Whether growing my own herbs organically or purchasing certified Organic herbs, I always am very particular with these ingredients checking ingredients for proper color and taste. My products have always been chemical fragrance free and dye free. Most of my soaps are scented with pure essential oils, which are a higher quality and more expensive natural ingredient with aromatherapy benefits. Aquarian Bath soaps have also always been Palm Oil free or Orangutan friendly. Though many sellers list "sustainable palm" as one of their ingredients, the definition of sustainability is questionable. I recommend reading eco journalist Ashley Schaeffer on The Rain Forest Action Network for ongoing news on the topic of palm oil and sustainable palm oil. The majority of my soaps and shampoo bars are now vegan. Products do not contain GMOs or SLS.

Aquarian Bath is a work in progress as we continually work toward reducing our ecological foot print in terms of energy and material consumption and choosing the most eco friendly ingredients.

Pretty Purples - Sassy, Sexy & Passionate Goodies!!!

This bracelet is a must have for any boho beauty. :) Lovely enough to pair with fancy attire, and comfy enough to wear to yoga class. A spin on the recent wrap bracelet trend, I paired one hand dyed silk ribbon with old Kuchi coins (typically seen decorating belly dance costumes!) and coordinating gold-toned spacer beads that are embossed with a simple pattern reminiscent of traditional Tibetan silver beads.

Spotlight on Tlala

Tlala Handcrafted Blessings, My, oh, My!

Tamaura Jean is the Owner, Maker, Designer, Curator, and the Photographer at Tlala.
She is also one of the Enchanted Collective of Etsy's leaders!

Tamaura describes herself & her gorgeous etsy shop:

I am an artist not only because I make things, but because artistry is my way of life. I express myself artistically in everything I do. Life is a journey, may it be blessed!
Nature has always been a plentiful source of Spirituality and inspiration for me. I enjoy combining my love of the forest with sustainable and energetically savvy items which you can find in my shop and locally in Northern California.

I have been creating my entire life. I never could make up my mind what medium to study. Perhaps I will always be the little girl, spinning and spinning and singing, "I will be a painter, a writer, a dancer, a teacher..."

When I grew up, I finished my Associates degree in Performance and Liberal Arts and went on to complete a B.A. in Studio Art. Later, I attended massage school and practiced many various forms of healing modalities. I currently work at the Crystal Rainbow Rockshop in Nevada City, California.

I hope you notice all the tender creativity and care in my craft. It is truly a one- woman shenanigan. I do it all; Dream the designs, make the materials, the finished products, take the photos, ship the merchandise and pray ♥
We are all on a journey together, may it be blessed!!!!

Spotlight On Winestone Birdhouses

Singing birds with microphones

Layla Coats is the very talented Owner, Designer, Maker, Curator, and of course the Birdhouse Artist at the Gorgeous Winestone Birdhouses shop on Etsy!

Here's what she has to say about her wonderful creations and herself:

I have always been an artist, my main mediums have been pen and ink and paints, both acrylic and oil. I have always dabbled here and there with other mediums and other artsy ideas, but the singing birds inspired me.
As I sat on my front porch sipping my wine in the tiny little spot of Roslyn, Wa. I couldn't help notice all the birds around me and how loud they were. For some reason in this particular part of the world, they always sounded like they were singing with microphones. It was beautiful.
As much as I fancy my wine in the evenings, and being the art minded soul I am, I kept all my corks knowing I would incorporate them into my art one day.

My dad, and avid bird lover, raised me alone and every Fathers Day I give him an original artwork by me. With the combination of these things and my creativity, my very first mosaic birdhouse came about.

Since then I have traveled to many places collecting anything I find that I can incorporate into a birdhouse. They have become me, I love adding details and making them very special.
